Generally, no. The major card networks don’t allow cannabis purchases because cannabis remains illegal under federal law. Budfront doesn’t support workarounds that disguise cannabis transactions, because they can put your business and your banking at risk.
Which payment options can I offer?
Pay at pickup works everywhere. Debit and pay-by-bank depend on your state and your payment provider. We’ll walk you through what’s available for your store on your demo.
Does Budfront take a cut of my sales?
No. Budfront is a flat monthly price with no commission on your orders. Any payment provider you use may charge its own processing fees.
How are cannabis taxes calculated?
Taxes come from your POS and store settings, so online totals match what your register charges. We set this up with you at launch and you confirm the rates.
